Happy New Year

I had a great Christmas. Jen and I went to Dallas from Friday to Thursday. The length of the trip was perfect. We were home in time relax on Jennifer's birthday, which is today. I got her a robe and a heart rate monitor, and she loved it.

What are som of my new years resolutions? I was talking about this earlier.

More time for things besides work.

More time in God's word.

More software development

Fewer people issues at work.

I bought a bible today. It is not a study bible. It is just a standard large print, thin, hard back, NASB bible. I am trying to learn how to interpret and understand the scriptures without the help of Ryrie or MacArthur. I was never very good at disecting texts. That is why I am an engineer. I just enjoy biblical studies so much, that I am really motivated to develop observation, interpretation, and appilcation skills. I am not a debater, so I do not think that I am going to get into any debates on the existance of God very soon, but I am excited about learning God's word, so that I can share those ideas more consisly and more confidently.

I am typing on an old iMac keyboard, and I am correcting too many typing mistakes.
