I have been working on creating an SSL/VPN in J2EE. I have learned a lot about J2EE and a lot about proxies. I can tell you there is still much more to learn. Currently, the proxy is very minimal. Pages throw more exceptions that actually get viewed. Today, I added a little to the management tool, so that it will become more useful.
After you log in, you are greeted with a prompt for a url to go to. The url is translated into the new url that wil go through the proxy. Once you are viewing the url you requested, an image appears in the upper right corner of the web page, so that you can go back and enter another url.
This is realy bad so far, but at least I am making some progress on it. I am happy.
