Statesman Capitol 10,000

Today, my wife and I ran in the 28th annual 10k. It was the first time that either of us have run in a race like this. My wife has been training with Run-Tex for a few months for this event, and it paid off.

As you can see from the picture below, there were a lot of people there. That was not so bad. Darting in and out of people got old, but it only lasted for the first 2 or 3 miles.

This was a very large event. I was very impressed at how smoothly it went off. There was plenty of water and food everywhere after the race. They really took care of the contestants.

I hope to run again next year. I hope that I can keep in shape.
