I am not a customer of this establishment, but my wife visited this salon last week. My wife has been in the salon business, and she understands the mysterious (to me) behavior for tipping and such. My wife decided to not go to your previous place of employment because of of price. She decided to go to Jackson Ruiz Salon last week. As she was getting her hair colored, she said that there were so many people that were helping, and she was getting overwhelmed by the tip list that she was keeping in her head. Even before she went to pay, she was sold on the experience that she received from the Jackson Ruiz team.
When she went to check out, she started to ask how she needs to tip all of the helpful people that served her. The cashier (or whatever the role is called in the salon business) said, "We do not accept tips." To me, this is incredible service. No salon is perfect, but this looks like a salon that is/could be making waves in that market.
Since she had this experience, she has shared her experience with her friends. Everyone has responded positively. Jackson Ruiz may be having 3 or 4 more customers in the near future because of my wife's great experience.
